Mr. Eduardo Conrado will join Ascension on Sept. 1 in the newly created position of Executive Vice President and Chief Digital Officer.
“Eduardo is a results-driven global technology executive with extensive experience in successfully and creatively defining and launching critical digital innovation programs in commercial and consumer segments,” said Anthony R. Tersigni, EdD, FACHE, President and Chief Executive Officer, Ascension. “He will be a welcome addition to our executive leadership team.”

Mr. Conrado will be accountable for driving the digital strategy, business transformation and operational change that will enable Ascension to accelerate the impact that it intends to achieve. This includes embedding best-practice digital capabilities along the value chain to improve innovation processes and operational practices.
Mr. Conrado brings a wealth of experience to this role. He has been with Motorola Solutions, Inc. – a leading communications and telecommunications equipment provider – and its predecessor company, Motorola, Inc., since 1992, progressively advancing through positions in marketing and sales, business operations, communications, information technology, venture capitalism, and innovation. In 2011, when the company spun off its mobile phone division into Motorola Mobility, Mr. Conrado became Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Motorola Solutions. Since 2015 he has served as Executive Vice President – Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer.
As a member of the Ascension Board of Directors since 2014, Mr. Conrado brought a deep understanding of the role of technology and a passion for improving the lives of those Ascension serves to advance its Mission. He stepped down from the Board on June 30 of this year.
Mr. Conrado earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering – Operation Management from Texas Tech University, Lubbock, Texas; a Master of Business Administration – International Finance from ESADE, a member of the International Association of Jesuit Business Schools and associated with Ramon Llull University in Barcelona, Spain; and a Master of International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management, a unit of the Arizona State University Knowledge Enterprise in Glendale, Arizona.
